Played in another volleyball tournament this weekend.  It was a great time.  Other than that not much has been going on.  I lead a pretty boring life these days.  I waxed my car.  That was a first.  I get to play flag football again and I might have found some people to play ultimate frisbee with.  I hope all of that works out.  I might go to Vegas next week to visit.  I still haven't decided if I really want to go or not but either way things will be cool.  Hoping that I get a job for this week.  It would be nice.  anyway that's all I have for now.  pretty boring but that's because I'm bored.   Peace out,   Melanie

Played in a small volleyball tournament this weekend.  It was great.  Hot and tiring, but truly a wonderful experience.  I cleaned my room today.  It isn't something I do often but it feels so good just to know that your room is clean.  Why is that?   Oh well, so I am looking into going to Falls Creek to help out with the hurricane refugees.  Since I don't go to school or work I might as well do something useful with my time.  I mean the Word does say to make the most of every opportunity.

I've been reading the Chronicles of Narnia.  I stinkin' love those books.  They are great and I can't wait for the movie to come out.    Anyway, keep in touch everyone.  Peace and love.   ~mels

When I got on the plane to come home from Ireland I heard a song and I just knew that it was going to be my Ireland song.  I only heard the last few lines of it but it meant so much to me, especially at that moment.  Well I waited to hear it again and found out that it was Frank Sinatra's "They can't take that away from me"  So now I feel like I should share this wonderful song with the rest of the world.  I hope everyone enjoys and if you ever want to hear the story behind it then you will just have to ask.   Now all I need is to get the cd so I can actually listen to the song.

"They can't take that away from me"

There are many many crazy things
That will keep me loving you
And with your permission
May I list a few

The way you wear your hat
The way you sip your tea
The memory of all that
No, no, they can't take that away from me

The way your smile just beams
The way you sing off key
The way you haunt my dreams
No, no, they can't take that away from me

We may never never meet again, on the bumpy road to love
But I'll always, always keep the memory of

The way you hold your knife
The way we danced till three
The way you've changed my life
No they can't take that away from me
No they can't take that away from me

(Interlude)

We may never, never, never meet again, on the bumpy road to love
Still I'll always, always keep that memory of

The way you hold your knife
The way we danced till three
The way you've changed my life
No, no, they can't take that away from me
No they can't take that away
They won't take that away
Cause they can't take that away
From me

Guys, I just found a great place to play volleyball in the city.  There are eight sand courts and tournaments going on every weekend.  I went and played today.  It was so much fun.  All of you need to come check it out sometime.  We can go play and have a great time.
